I hope you all know how much I love nail art. It's always more fun than just a plain manicure, but it takes so much more time.
And sometimes, you just don't have the time. Or the patience. Or the skills...
But don't worry! There is hope. There are nail wraps.
Ich hoffe ihr wisst, wie sehr ich Nail Art liebe. Ich finde es immer schöner, eine einfache Maniküre etwas aufzupeppen, aber es dauert meist auch wesentlich länger. Und dann ertappe ich mich doch dabei, wie ich mir wochenlang nur etwas Farbe auf die Nägel werfe. Man hat ja tatsächlich noch andere Sachen zu tun, da kann die geliebte Nail Art schon mal auf der Strecke bleiben. Kann. Denn für alle super busy girls and guys oder auch für die, die nicht so ein ruhiges Händchen haben, gibt es Hoffnung. Nail Wraps.
I was offered to try the nail wraps from Miss Sophie's (click!) and to be honest, I was a little little bit skeptical.
I course, they looked super pretty but will they look as pretty on the nails? Wouldn't you see they are not "real" nail art? Wouldn't it be hard to apply them right? Would they even last a single day? And wouldn't it be a pain to remove them afterwards?
So I tried them. And I was impressed.
They were sooo super easy to apply as they come in different sizes so you can find the perfect one for each nail. You just take a nail file and file off the excess, to make it perfect for the length of your nail.
After you put them on your nails, you add top coat and they last forever. And with forever I mean good five days without any chipping.
I suggest to use a base coat underneath (but let it dry! Completely!) so the removing gets even better.
Oh well, when you look closely, you can see that they're nail wraps and not just polish, but it really doesn't bother me and many people who haven't looked that close even asked me if I did this myself. "Of course I did. Not."
Mir wurde angeboten, die Nail Wraps von Miss Sophie's (klick!) zu testen und ich muss zugeben, ich war etwas skeptisch.
Sie sahen wirklich super schön aus, aber würden sie sich auch so auf den Nägeln machen? Würde man nicht sehen, dass es keine "echte" Nail Art ist? Wären sie nicht schwierig aufzukleben und würden sie überhaupt länger als einen Tag halten? Und überhaupt, würde man sie problemlos wieder abbekommen?
Also habe ich sie getestet. Und war beeindruckt.
Sie sind tatsächlich total einfach aufzukleben, man hat viele verschiedene Größen aus denen man für jeden Nagel die passende wählen kann.
Das Überstehende wird einfach mit einer Nagelfeile abgefeilt - funktionierte auch besser als erwartet.
Mit Top Coat haben sie gute fünf Tage gehalten und sahen immer noch aus wie neu.
Allerdings empfehle ich doch, einen Base Coat darunter zu verwenden. Hab ich das erste Mal nicht gemacht, dann war das entfernen doch nicht so super easy.
Wenn man ganz nah schaut, erkennt man schon, dass es Nail Wraps sind und kein normaler Nagellack - hätte mich aber auch sehr gewundert. Von weiter weg sieht man es aber wirklich nicht, ich würde oft angesprochen, ob ich dieses Design selber gemacht hätte.

All in all, the nail wraps are not the cheapest of cheap, but totally worth it. Maybe you'd better wear them to special occasions.

Im Großen und Ganzen muss ich sagen, die Nail Wraps sind zwar nicht super günstig, aber jeden Cent wert.
Daher vielleicht eher für besondere Anlässe geeignet, man möchte sie ja doch nicht "verschwenden".
Auf Miss Sophie's Webseite findet ihr noch viele weitere Designs und es gibt auch immer mal wieder kleine Sale-Aktionen (bin ich ja immer ein Fan von.).
